As their project pipeline continues to expand, they are looking for a motivated professional to contribute to innovative fire safety solutions for clients throughout Ireland.
As a Fire Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in developing fire safety strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and working closely with clients, design teams, and statutory authorities. Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing fire safety strategies and engineering design reports
• Conducting fire safety assessments, code compliance reviews, and risk analyses
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers throughout design and construction stages
• Preparing Fire Safety Certificates (FSC), Disability Access Certificates (DAC), and supporting documentation
• Providing technical advice to clients and representing the consultancy at project meetings
• Staying updated with legislation, building regulations, and industry best practices
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
• 2–5+ years’ experience in a fire engineering role (consultancy experience advantageous)
• Strong working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and fire safety standards
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team
• Chartered or working toward chartership (desirable but not essential)
